Attraction Types

There are a bewildering array of attraction types. These range from famous places like Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, Trafalgar Square or Stonehenge to small animal farm collections and specialist museums. There are country houses and stately homes open to the public, magnificent gardens, historic castles, ruined abbeys, great cathedrals and art galleries and museums. The list is almost endless and you will find something to suite everyones taste and interest on this site.

You should always check the opening days and times for attractions as they may not be open all the time or at certain times of the year.

Within each county amd city in Britain there are hundreds of attractions to be visited. We have listed these under categories that can be found on the Home Screen. Select the attraction type that interests you and use our search facilities to find them in the place you wish to visit.

Most attractions have an entrance fee to help cover the costs but some national museums and art galeries are free to enter although they may ask for a donation to help them fund and maintain the facility.
